Learning women's history is essential because it gives students a complete and honest understanding of the past, highlights the leadership and resilience of women across generations, and helps ensure today's decisions are informed by voices that have too often been left out of classrooms and textbooks.

“We started H.E.R because we've personally noticed that our school, along with many others, excludes a lot of women's history in the curriculum. Women's voices throughout history, and even now, have gone unheard. We believe that we can help make a change by joining H.E.R and pushing for our history to be taught.”
